The required insurance will be available for purchase at the contest site.
Public Relations
The organiser together with FAI hopes to have an extensive TV coverage of the Junior and World Class WGC at Nitra. Please note that it will therefore be necessary for competing pilots to sign appearance releases and in some cases to allow tiny cameras to be installed in their gliders. In the interest of promoting the sport of gliding, we count on you to inform your team members of this requirement and to encourage them to give every possible assistance to the TV programme makers who we hope will be present at the event.
Catering at the Airport
The organiser will arrange the operation of the airport restaurant at the site. The meals at this restaurant will be possible to order on one-day prior basis from menu displayed in advance. The day menu meal will consist of the following:
Breakfast – Registered access to Swedish type breakfast with all kind of typical food and drinks.
Launch - Daily soup, outlanding bag (mainly for pilots) or hot meal with or without meat, drink
Dinner - Main meal of the day with or without meal, drink
- Outlanding bag will contain - salami, sausage or cheese; bread; fruit; drink; cake or chocolate
The daily menu at the site will cost 10 EUR per person.
For Rent
We have contacted several owners of cars with towing hooks installed, whether they should be available to offer their cars or serve for some teams during the contest. For final arrangements we need response from the teams. Therefor we would like to ask you in case of an interest to rent car, crewmember or bungalow/room at the airport to fill the attached rent form and send it together with the entry form. Regarding the rent of the gliders, there are limited possibilities to rent Standard and World class gliders in Slovakia, but you can quite easy rent a Club class glider from local clubs.
